Hillbilly Elegy by J. D. Vance returns to the top of the Los Angeles Times Hardcover Nonfiction Bestseller List and The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead remains the number one book on the Los Angeles Times Hardcover Fiction Bestsellers List for the week of January 22, 2017. 
 
Debuting at #3 on the Hardcover Fiction List this week is Difficult Women by Roxane Gay.  New to the Hardcover Nonfiction List are Spark by Angie Morgan, Courtney Lynch and Sean Lynch; and Talking as Fast as I Can by Lauren Graham.
