Are you looking for fun things to do with the kids this holiday season?  Look no further than Central Library and the Children’s Literature Department.  Besides the over 235,000 items (books, DVDs, recorded books, music CDs, magazines, comic books, and more) in our amazing collection, we will have activities every day for the next three weeks!  Learn how to draw cartoons with Max & Ruben’s Cartoon Drawshop, or create beautiful projects with teaching artists from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art!  Meet Erica Silverman, award-winning author of non-fiction, picture books, and beginning readers (including the very popular Cowgirl Kate and Cocoa series)!  Share stories, songs, and more with storyteller Karen Rae Kraut!  Join us for Fun and Games on Fridays!  And we’ll have our usual fabulous Family Storytimes every Saturday at 2 pm.  We’ll also have programs for preschoolers.  And of course everything is free!  We hope to see you there!
