Come join in on the fun and celebrate Halloween and Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) at the Los Angeles Public Library! Browse our events below for free, fun, and spooky programs for children, teens and adults.

October 27, 2015 4:00PM

Teens and children may decorate a sugar skull with frosting, feathers, sequins and more to celebrate the ancestors or color in a calaca/skull mask. This is a tradition from Mexico's Dia de Los Muertos or Day of the Dead.

October 31, 2015 2:00PM to 3:00PM

We’ll be celebrating Halloween in a slightly spooky way, with stories, poems, songs, a puppet show, a costume parade (come dressed up… we will!) and more.
