Since he received his very first Danny O’Day doll at age six,
Kelly Asbury has been fascinated with ventriloquism A twenty-year
veteran of the animation industry, Asbury has worked as a director,
storyboard artist, art director and designer for some of Hollywood’s
most popular animated films included "Shrek," "The
Prince of Egypt," "Toy Story" and "Beauty and
the Beast." In 2002, Asbury made his directorial debut with
the Academy Award nominated animated feature "Spirit-Stallion
of the Cimarron." He is a noted author and illustrator of several
children’s books. Asbury lives in Pasadena with his wife, two
cats, two dogs, and seventeen vintage dummies.
