October 20, 2013 Los Angeles Times Best Sellers Available at the Library

Malcolm Gladwell's newest book, David and Goliath: Underdogs, Misfits, and the Art of Battling Giants debuts at #1 on the Los Angeles Times Hardcover Nonfiction best seller list this week.  Also new on the nonfiction list this week is The Reason I Jump by Naoki Higashida, which details life through the eyes of a 13-year old autistic boy and the self-help book, Break Out! by Joel Osteen.

Debuting on the Hardcover Fiction best seller list is The Signature of All Things by Elizabeth Gilbert and The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion.  In its 68th week of release Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn is back in the top ten at #9.  

On the Paperback Fiction list this week the #1 book is Beautiful Ruins by Jess Walter while the #1 Paperback Nonfiction book is Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail by Cheryle Strayed (only 2 holds).
