March 9, 2014 Los Angeles Times Best Sellers Available at the Library

David Kelly, Senior Librarian, Literature & Fiction Department,
L.A. Times Bestsellers

No changes to the top spots in the both the Hardcover Fiction and Nonfiction Best Seller Lists this week.  The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt is the number one book on the Los Angeles Times Hardcover Fiction Bestseller List this week as it has been for 17 of its 18 weeks on the list.  Malcolm Gladwell's David and Goliath, which has been on the list for 21 weeks is on top of the Hardcover List.

The only new entry on the Fiction List this week is An Officer and a Spy by Robert Harris, a fictional account of the Dreyfus Affair.  The Hardcover Nonfiction List has two new top-ten debuts.  At #4 is The Wes Anderson Collection by Matt Zoller Seitz, a book length interview with the director that includes photos, artwork, and ephemera and at #9 is novelist and essayist Edmund White's memoir of his time in Paris, Inside a Pearl.

Click on any title on the list to place a hold on an item free of charge.  You will need to know your library card number and the last four digits of the phone number associated with your card. After placing the hold select the library location to which you want the item sent and we will notify you when it is available for pick up.
