Improving your performance on the SAT comes down to one thing: becoming a better test taker. Princeton Review experts have spent countless hours thoroughly researching the test so that they can teach you how to crack it. Princeton Review staff will show you their exclusive strategies and give you the study tools you need to practice on your own and master what we cover in class.

Most students take the SAT for the first time during the spring of their junior year and a second time during the fall of their senior year. The SAT and other College Board tests are offered several times a year.

Harbor Branch, 24000 Western Ave, Harbor City 90710 is offering the SAT Preparation Series from September 12 to October 17, 2015. Practice tests will be given on Saturday mornings from 10am to 2:30pm on the beginning and ending dates. Preparation sessions will take place on Thursday evenings at 6pm. The Series is being offered for the first time in this area, but don’t worry! The free series will be offered again in the future. Younger students will be taking a different version of the SAT and are not academically prepared for the SAT questions yet – the PSAT and National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test are recommended until Grade 10. Of highest priority for this first series are High School Seniors, maybe also Juniors, who are submitting their applications to college this Fall.

All students who take the September 12 SAT Practice Test will walk away with their own copy of Cracking the SAT, 2015 edition, 768 pages jam packed with techniques, information, and opportunity for extra practice. You’ll learn strategies to help you avoid question traps, as well as how to pace yourself during the test. You’ll become familiar with the subjects covered, most commonly occurring vocabulary terms, and have confidence because you know what to expect. The book also gives you a chance to practice with four more practice tests, including detailed answers and explanations for the correct answers. There are drills for math, critical reading and writing.

But you’ll also have help making your way through all that material. Princeton Review will cover English/Reading, Math, and Writing in one hour sessions with students on Thursday evenings in early October. You’ll be able to ask all your questions and get in-person answers from someone truly knowledgeable.

High School Seniors needing or wanting a better score will be able to enroll by the Oct. 9 College Board deadline for the November 7, 2015 official College Board exam – and when you take the official exam you’ll have completed some solid test preparation and be confident from the improved scores you’ve obtained on the final SAT practice exam.

Prepare with this free series, get improved results, and take the Official College Board SAT exam on November 7 – just in time for Applications to UC schools!
