Best Sellers

After a long run at the top of the Los Angeles Times Hardcover Fiction Bestseller List, The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt has been replaced in the #1 spot by The Invention of Wings by Sue Monk Kidd, a novel about a 10-year-old slave and her 11-year-old owner.  Also debuting on the Hardcover Fiction list is Chang-Rae Lee's dystopian novel, On Such a Full Sea and Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.

On the Hardcover Nonfiction List this week as Malcolm Gladwell's David and Goliath is #1 once again but there are three new additions to the list. George Washington's Secret Six by Brian Kilmeade and Don Yaeger is the true story of six secret agents called the Culper Spy Ring who aided General Washington during the Revolutionary War; Scott Stossel's memoir of his mental affliction, My Age of Anxiety; and Daniel J. Siegel study of the teenage brain, Brainstorm.
