April 20, 2014 Los Angeles Times Best Sellers Available at the Library

Michael Lewis' latest expose of the financial markets, Flash Boys: A Wall Street Revolt, debuts at #1 on the  Los Angeles Times Hardcover Fiction Bestseller List.  Meanwhile, Donna Tartt's reign on top of the Hardcover Fiction Bestseller List rolls on as The Goldfinch is on top of the list for the 23rd week. 

Emma Donoghue, author of the best-selling novel Room, returns to the Hardcover Fiction List with Frog Music, which is based upon a real unsolved murder which took place in San Francisco in 1876.  Also new to the Fiction List this week is Donna Leon's latest Guido Brunetti mystery, By Its Cover.  

On the Hardcover Nonfiction list Dan Harris, the anchor of "Nightline" jumps up to the #3 position with 10% Happier: How I Tamed the Voice in My Head, Reduced Stress Without Losing My Edge, and Found Self-Help That Actually Works--A True Story, a book that chronicles his journey through the worlds of spirituality and self-help after suffering an on-air panic attack.  Primatologist Jane Goodall debuts at #5 on the list with her examination of the world of botany, Seeds of Hope: Wisdom and Wonder from the World of Plants.
