READINGS OF SCENES FROM GREEK DRAMA (FREE)

SUNDAY NOV 16th  2014 @ 2:00 PM, Mark Taper Auditorium

Featuring the actors of the Aquila Theatre, staged readings will bring power of classical drama to life.  The performers will present selections from the ODYSSEY of Homer, AJAX and PHILOCTETES of Sophocles, and HERAKLES of Euripides.  

Veterans, their families and members of the general community are  invited to come and participate in this dialogue connecting the classics with America's military experience.   The actors from Aquila will discuss these themes and encourage commentary .  Veterans in particular are encouraged to take part.
