The Working Poet Radio Show (WPRS) is a new program dedicated to the working lives of creative people, featuring guests, live music, and innovative ways of telling stories. Host Joseph Lapin and Producer J. David Gonzalez are interested in the poetry that powers everyone from novelists to graphic designers to nanotechnologists.
Episode Two of The Working Poet Radio Show was filmed before a live audience at the Mark Taper Auditorium at the Los Angeles Public Library. Our guests were Michael Semanchik of the California Innocence Project, Cosmo Scharf of Virtual Reality LA, and Mark Haskell Smith, author of "Raw", "Baked", and more. Plus, we had the band that makes everyone feel sexy -- Das Tapes. Watch here! #LA
Episode Three at the Los Angeles Public Library is called "Working with Humor," and we're going to have Jay Martel, the producer of Key & Peele on Comedy Central, Flula Borg, and Pamela Ribon discuss their working lives and how being a comedian is changing based on digital media. Come check us out Wednesday, June 4 at 7:00 PM. #WPRS
