Read it First! Film adaptations headed to theatres near you. April 2016 edition

If you've heard it once, you've heard it a million times - the book was better. There's nothing like debating the differences between a favorite book and its translation to the screen. But if you don't know your beloved series is coming out as a movie or that the fun looking preview you saw was adapted from a book, how can you join the debate? The Library to the rescue! Here we will be exploring the movie adaptations soon to hit your local theatres and give you the chance to read before you view.

Three juxtaposed faces, two men and one woman

Stephen Elliot's Adderall Diaries is the non fiction account of the high profile Hans Reiser murder case infused with Elliot's own depressive introspection. Obsessed with the case and his tenuous connection to one of the the suspects, the writer explores his own neuroses, the trial and the world at large.

In Kevin Wilson's The Family FangAnnie and Buster are the grown children of famed performance artists Caleb and Camille Fang. Having long ago distanced themselves from their over the top parents, they individually find their lives spinning out of control at the same time as their parents apparently go missing. Is this disappearance another piece of their art or are they truly gone?
