Top two bestsellers book covers: Fiction - The Cuckoo's Calling and Nonfiction - This Town.

The Cuckoo's Calling by Robert Galbraith debuts this week on top of the Los Angeles Times Hardcover Fiction best seller list while James Lee Burke's 20th Dave Robicheaux mystery Light of the World hits the Hardcover Fiction list in the seventh spot.  This Town, Mark Leibovich's look at the status-seeking culture of our nation's capital takes over the #1 spot on the Hardcover Nonfiction list.  Shirley Jones: A Memoir is also new to the Nonfiction list at #8.

Looking at the Paperback Fiction best seller list there are a few titles which now have a short waiting list.  The #1 Paperback Fiction book, Beautiful Ruins by Jess Walter currently has only 12 holds for 111 copies while J. K. Rowling's Casual Vacancy has 194 available copies and only 4 holds.

Click on any title on the list to place a hold on an item free of charge.  You will need to know your library card number and the last four digits of the phone number associated with your card.
