Materials & Collections

The Language Learning Center offers a variety of materials to improve your linguistic skills -- whether you're a new American wishing to learn English, a business person engaged in international trade, a vacationer preparing to travel abroad, or someone who simply enjoys language learning.

This innovative, one-stop language learning place, made possible by the generous support of The Fletcher Jones Foundation, is for independent study and it offers:

Audio, video, and computer language study courses for improvement of grammar, vocabulary and comprehension Grammars, dictionaries, phrase books, and readers in over 28 languages Specialized multi-language materials for citizenship preparation Generic interest videos and audios in languages other than English of this material can be borrowed and taken home or it can be used in the Center.
