The Los Angeles Public Library is pleased to offer electronic books to our customers. These “e-books” can be read through the website of netLibrary, our partner in this project.

Register Now! - e-Book readers must first establish a free personal netLibrary account by using the following link

and clicking on the Create A Free Account link in the upper right hand corner of the NetLibrary page.

Once you've set up your netLibrary account, you may browse the netLibrary website for an e-Book of your choice. You may also come across electronic books in LAPL's catalog as titles with the call number "e-Book". Clicking on the title will lead you to an "Electronic Access" link to netLibrary. You can read them online from any computer with internet access and a Web browser.
